Alliance for Positive Change

Ahead of their 25th anniversary, AIDS Service Center NYC approached frog’s Social Impact practice to help them refresh their website and brand. Over the years, their spectrum of services had grown, and they wanted to reflect that commitment to the community.

After a brand and website audit, we identified an opportunity to improve wayfinding for their two primary audiences:

Clients and Donors.

(Redesigned landing page)

Using a rapid learn/build/test sprint, we created 3 brand directions including a renaming track, reorganized their information architecture, and applied the selected design system to a web template. We did all this in 3 weeks, including executive support, board approval, and custom code on the website!

We were able to launch The Alliance for Positive Change rebrand, .nyc website, and fundraising merchandise in time for their 25th Anniversary Gala Event.

(We applied relevant icons inside the capital “A” as a logo mark motif for context and brand unity.)

This project provided beneficial effects at every level of engagement. The website visitors spent less time searching for relevant information, and more time engaging with The Alliance. Staff were able to dedicate more personal attention to clients’ needs. Increased brand awareness meant deeper trust and broader reach within the community. A polished refresh instilled confidence in The Alliance’s momentum, which in turn helped them raise more funding support.

(The Alliance easily applied the design system to signage and merchandise.)
